I’ve been thinking about identity as it relates to “finding the connection to yourself” - and this here is one more perspective on that question. From your perspective, what are the different elements that contribute to the “you” in leading like you? Your why, strengths, beliefs, values… what else is in there?
Thanks Hanna, I always appreciate your thoughtful comments. My initial response is that it includes everything, but I wonder if I need to give this more thought to be able to say what ‘everything’ means!
It’s certainly all of those things that you listed, and I think it’s more too, it’s all the little things that make you you.
However I wonder if all those things are in fact captured in beliefs, values etc., because as I think of examples they do all seem to fit in those ‘buckets’!
In the past though, I wouldn’t have had that language, as I gradually learned more and more about myself, what’s important to me and what I need to be at my best and feel like myself.
The other thing I want to explore / get clarity on for myself is the “so what?” I know it’s good and helpful and feels good and creates fulfillment, but I’m curious to get some more clarity on that. Needed to just leave that as one more comment :)
